Who is Renne' Toney?

It takes discipline..

this sport has made me strong in my self esteem. I am a very shy person by nature and the sport has made me not only strong physically, but also strong within. It has made me a very disciplined person. I think it takes a very unique individual to do what I do, staying strict with my diet all year round, and going to the gym pushing my self to the torturous limit in every workout session. Most people might think it is crazy, well....

I am an artist..

Through the lifting of weights. I have become a "body sculptress" over the 20 years that I have been training. I have gotten much smarter about my training. I am not just putting on muscle here and there for the sake of putting it on. There is a strategy, like Michelangelo did with his David. Of course it has to be placed on my body according to how it will suit me aesthetically.

Am I a freak...

God’s genetic experiment gone haywire? A mutant perhaps, hmmm, maybe I am. You may ask me "Renne' why do you want to  get to a weight of 225 lbs. with approximately 7-10% bodyfat". The only possible educated reply that I could give you is why not? and  because I  truly feel that muscle has no gender" Also in my thinking more on this," If I am made in the image of our one and only creator , well then "a freak" is not such a bad thing to be. That’s honesty from me.

Never a team player, never a follow the leader type,
when i was a child i was an island...

during team sports I just didn’t understand the whole team concept thing. Unless the team was me, myself and I. I never wanted anyone to assist me and I always figured out ways that a team or group project could be done with just me. i have carried that attitude  with me as I have grown up and planted it into the brain of the person that I am now.

About my androdrogenous look...

I actually am comfortable with it. (eyebrows raise) I like the idea that I can gain attraction from all gender types. Sure it has it challenges and I certainly have my stories to tell, but don’t we all!

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME:

My current weight : between 207-211 lbs.
Contest weight : 198 lbs.
Number of years training : 20 yrs.

I train only with myself in mind. My view or philosophy about bodybuilding or just life in general is pretty simple, "Do what makes you feel good about yourself, and live and let live."

What are some of my future goals?

I would like to compete or make a guest appearances on some stage at a contest ready weight well above 200 lbs. ... "shock and awe!"

I have a "big" surprise {god willing} planned for everyone to see in 2006. It is a personal goal of my own. My other personal goals are to get over the fear of the water so that I can learn to swim and also to reconnect with my other artistic self through my music.
